    Marek graduated as a physicist-astronomer with honors in 2009 and continued his studies at the Astrophysics Program of the University of Szeged, Faculty of Physics, where he worked on general relativity and gravitational theory. He has published several papers in foreign languages in conference proceedings, conference posters and a book chapter. After leaving academia in 2014, he entered the field of patent prosecution and since has represented clients before the National Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization. He studied European patent law in Munich and Vienna and passed the European Patent Attorney Examination, becoming one of 25 European patent attorneys currently qualified in the country. His qualification allows him to appear personally in proceedings before the European Patent Office. Over the past decade, he has assisted numerous companies, research institutes, universities and individuals in achieving their intellectual property goals in Germany and abroad.
